I spoke to my dad this morning about my stresses and the pain went away, however 2 minutes later it returned. It comes and goes, but it is weird that even when I make it go away, it comes back a couple minutes later. How do you make it completely go away.

For starters, you stop trying to make it completely go away, and just focus on the work.

You keep doing exactly what you're doing, and be stalwart and patient.
Remember, conditioning is also an important component...sometimes you might have it by the tail, but unknowingly walk into one of your old "conditioning traps"....
mine were: Laying on my back in bed(I can still make my shoulder numb by doing this)as opposed to on my stomach
Saying the words "disc" "sciatica" or "pinched"
driving home from work(but not driving to)
talking to my Mother ,and/or mother in law
going to work before the sun came up
watching TV(I never watched until I was hurt)
etc,etc,etc....I didn't realize how many I had until I really focused on where and when the symptoms emerged.

Than I would have an "excorcism" if you will...I'd intentionally go thru that activity fully focused on what I was angry about to nullify the conditioning.

In the few weeks I've read your posts,I've already seen you come a Loooooong way towards recovery.I have an intuition that you are one of the ones who in retrospect will have a relatively quick recovery.
Mine was 3-4 weeks but because I intellectually grasped the concept so quickly,it seemed like eons.
