Hey how are you doing? I hope well! I was just scrolling through the site and i noticed awhile ago you were having swollen lymph nodes. I am not sure if you have read any of my posts but I have palpable lymph nodes and was just curious how you are doing with that? What were your thoughts and what your doctors had told you? Thanks baseball I appreciate it.

when I was cured of my back pain I wanted to shout off rooftops I was so happy about it! Now what I really did was start buying extra copies of all of Sarnos books and handing them out to people with pain. I haven't gotten any of the books back I'll have to buy new ones and I don't mind. The only problem I'm having with that is now I forgot all his symptoms of TMS. I tried googling it but the only physical symptoms I got was back pain. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks !

Jena, I think you can benefit tremendously from reading Dr. Schubiner's Blog (particularly his last two entries, #13 and #14). They offer terrific advice that will be helpful to anyone on the Forum who is still dealing with doubt and fear. Jena, in your case, you have seen enough doctors to be able to proceed with confidence in the TMS diagnosis. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Hi Jena,

bb65 I think comes in here in waves, 3mos on 3mos off. I was in correspondence w/ him for some time. He's one of the many here who have saved me from the surgeons table. I got a hold of him thru his e-mail. But I think for whatever reason the emails here go to his junk mail so you may have to e-mail him several times to get him.

Please don't take this the wrong way (I mean to HELP, not hurt or insult), but scrolling through this site looking for info on lymph nodes means you're still checking and not accepting the good news that you received from the doctors. You will have to commit to the information you've received from several doctors, one of whom you described as "the best of the best" if you want to get "well," on with your life, on to more fun matters, whatever.

I see myself in you, Jena. I used to check incessantly with doctors about everything. I still feel an impulse to do so occasionally and I have to stop myself. My husband stopped me in my tracks last year when I was engaged in a line-up of doctor visits--all coming to no conclusion or resolution. I got too much information, and it confused me more. He said, "if you don't trust the doctors and won't do what they say, why do you go? Why waste the time and money?"

Think about this, Jena: many TMSers get BAD news from doctors, or are told to have SURGERY (I was told this) and they DISREGARD IT. They move on to do the TMS work and become pain-free.

Your checking is a distraction from your emotions, just like the distracting pain of TMS. You will either have to employ old-fashioned self-discipline to control the behavior or embark on the journal/therapy path. You must focus on what's going on in your life EMOTIONALLY to get over fixating on this.
