I don't think this is going against treating TMS, I hope not, but there is a Bach Flower remedy called White Chestnut which is for 'unwanted thoughts', 'feeling one's thoughts are stuck in a groove' etc etc. Following use - 'balanced state of mind', 'head clear and calm' etc.
I think this could be very helpful to those of us finding it difficult to stop constantly obsessing over the symptoms.
