Well, I've been having a pretty bad TMS flare-up for the past couple months. Mild pain during the day but mid-level pain when I lie down to fall asleep. Pain's bearable but I'm averaging 4-5 hours sleep at best because of it. That sucks.
Have been seeing my therapist who's been wonderful but looking to step things up a notch with a TMS guy.
Any thoughts you can share about this guy, Arnold Bloch?

More than alright not to talk about the pain. If anything, I just feel that with my current therapist, we've lost the thread of the conversation or we've gone as far as we can go.
I'd like a new perspective so I'm going to try Arnold.

I've spoken with him twice (two 45-min sessions). He gets to the heart of things quickly and doesn't waste your time. He's very nice and a good listener. But you have to understand that he may not actually be talking to you about your pain, but about your life. He spent a lot of time talking to me about how I relate to myself and to the world.
He gave me a lot of good advice about how to calm down my mind (it may be difficult for me to follow the advice sometimes because I'm so stuck in old patterns right now, but I found my sessions with him very helpful).
