I had the MRI yesterday and the tech was nice but said something that annoyed me. He asked why I was having the MRI so I told him about lifting weights 3 weeks ago, then having low back pain start a few hours after that. He said "well, better lay off the weights then."

I said "nope." He just looked at me. It makes me wonder if people who are physically active without any back pain would give up their activities as easily as they tell others to.

Sounds like a typical answer from a physical-minded person.

I doubt those w/o pain would give anything up!
HOWEVER, since you say you found this comment annoying, I'd write about it if even a little. . . even little annoyances. . .
