Posted - 05/22/2008 : 06:01:34 Just thought I'd let you know I'ave arranged to see what seems to be one of the few TMS doctors here in the UK. I've self diagnosed TMS but need some back up so I am hoping he can help me.
I'll post back on here with how I got on for the benefit of the UK people on this forum, if anyone's interested.

Posted - 05/24/2008 : 04:13:06 I have seen Dr Atkinson 3 times and he recommended me to read Dr Sarnos book to find out about TMS. When I saw him he had recently returned from America (early Jan) and was just incorporating TMS in to his work. He has been very helpful and he has other techniques involving working with the inner child which is very powerful and healing. He is a doctor with a lot of information and techniques to help with chronic pain. I look forward to hearing how you get on with him Panda

Posted - 05/22/2008 : 11:44:45 Yes, there are only 2 people in the UK who have trained with Dr Sarno to treat TMS.
But that's great progress - better than a year ago when there were none!
Do let us know how you get on.

Posted - 05/22/2008 : 11:34:47 Hi pandamonium,
Please let us know how you get on. I'm in the UK too and thinking of making an appointment with Dr Mark, so it would be great to hear how it goes. When is your appointment?
Don't know about you, but I've only found 2 possible places for TMS treatment in the UK.
