I havent posted in a while, but I've been reading some posts from time to time. I continue to be 99% free of TMS-releated LBP for close to 5 years, with occasional minor relapses. I am still very very angry inside and that surpression results mostly in depression now instead of the LBP I had for 30 years.

But, that's not why I'm here today.

All 4 of my wisdom teeth had come in on their own without problems years ago so I never had them removed. Recently one of them broke off a portion and it made sense to have the broken tooth and the one below it extracted. So that happened today so now I'm only 1/2 as wise as I was yesterday.

Needless to say, as expected, once the local wore off I'm not resting too comfortably. I figured I'd give it 24 hours of recovery before deciding wether or not I would really need to opt in for some RX pain meds.

All those years of Sarno recovery methods for LBP have been very valuable today. Even though my pain from the extration is also _REAL_, I am not in any fear of the pain since I've learned how the brain and pain really works. So when it became problematic earlier today, I just let it hurt, and did not "play the movie" of why was I broken and when will I ever be cured. I had no need for all that any more.

The Knowledge gave me control, and while some pain meds would have probably been way easier, it was a interesting experiment and so far working ok. Maybe I will get some sleep tonight and tomorrow will be better. That's key in the TMS struggle, the future will overall be better.

Take care, -Stryder

Good job, Stryder! Hope your teeth feel better soon. I hated not being able to eat after my wisdom tooth extraction.

It's not 100% belief that's required, but 100% commitment.
