great article, thank you for sharing it

there was a doctor a few yrs ago (i hope he's still around and i wish i could remember his name), anyway he was hounded by the authorities for his license, he cured a bunch of people from cancer using placebos, i think he would ask his patients if they'd be willing to try an experimental medicine that had great hopes

anyway at his trials he had a lot of supporters who were his patients cured of cancer

most would not agree with his practices, but it does show the brain's power and like the newsweek article points out placebos should definitely be studied more
