I feel my friend has suffered with TMS for many years form all sorts of pains and pulled musecles. she has all the characterisitcs of TMS perfectionsist , goodist care giver etc. the most recent episode of pain was Thanksgiving when she wanted to lift her mother out of the wheelchair and she got a pain i her arm. Her arm only hurts with certain movements. it is now March and she still has pain. she is now going to a chiropractor. she runs to Florida often to visit her mother who is in a wheelchair who has benn ill for 13 years. My friend has tremendous anger and rage due to many things happening in her life. my question is could the pain be another episode of TMS. of course the chiropractor said she could have a pull or tear. I believe the pain is coming from her unconscius emotions not wanting to surface.
