Has anyone ordered Dr. Sarno's DVD's and were they worth the money, or are the books just as good.
Which Dr. Sarno's did you find the most helpful?
Thanks. |

Posted - 01/26/2008 : 13:26:18 Thanks everyone. I have the Mind Body Prescription book, I hate to spend money on the DVD if everything is mostly in the book.
Just wondering about Dr. Schubiner as I live around 100 miles from him. I will give it more time working on my own tho, its good too know a TMS doctor is close by just in case. |

Posted - 01/25/2008 : 11:09:17 Funny you should ask about Schubiner, I was looking around on the internet yesterday and came upon his website. It has lots of detail about his TMS treatment program, and also some good success story testimonials. Don't remember the exact address, but found it easily using google.

Posted - 01/25/2008 : 10:44:17 I have Sarno's video/dvd - it goes over the same information as his books and the patients in his audience seem to have very posed questions, but there is no doubt that they are real patients with real challenges. The talks are interspersed with interviews with the patients and that is nice.
I enjoyed hearing Sarno in person and getting a feel for him that way. I think the best books are The Divided Mind and Healing Back Pain. |
