This is a very interesting website. Thanks for posting this.
Dr. Nick Read seems to be the UK equivalent of Dr. Clarke, as his experience seems also to be with IBS and other gut problems, and he has written, evidently, a parallel book called Sick and Tired: Healing the Illnesses that Doctors Cannot Cure.
Too bad he has retired, and is spending his time exploring wild places, but his book looks to be a very good read. I have ordered a copy, and it is available in the US on Amazon.com:
