I'am facing a very heavy recurrence of lower backpain. What i wan't to ask you is if any of you are a HSP (high sensitive person). All test give me this indication. To me the (emotional) overloading is than much stronger and it is difficult to balance my life with 2 kids, wife and responsabillities. Never thought is was that heavy while other persons do it with almost no stress. When there are problems the impact on me is always very strong. So the question is when you are prone to TMS/AOS and there are emotional repressed/suppressed feelings-thoughts and you are HSP does it make recovery more difficult. Sometimes i feel i have to be alone for a year to get back on earth.
Thanks

I suspect that a very large percentage of us TMSers are HSP. For me, carving out even a little bit of time every day for reading and journaling is beneficial. All of the books suggest that you do not have to change your personality or your life circumstances in order to heal. Is it possible to build even a half-hour into your day to focus on your emotions/reading Sarno? I realize that your days are probably jam-packed, but your healing deserves to take priority right now. I wish you the best!
Peace,
