I've been pretty much "cured" of my TMS for several years...
Had major back and allergy issues for years before I found the good doctor. Through consulting with him and a few years of working with one of his therapists from NYU, I was able to banish 99% of my symptons... And dodge a bunch of minor equilivants..

Throughout all of this I've also been very active (running, biking, etc) atleast 5 days a week.

Recently, I've been going at a breakneck pace of exercise and restoring a 160 yr old house and being a husband to my pregant wife and a dad to my 2 yr old.

I started to get Knee pain that I attempted to work through, but it progressed to a lot of pain (keeping me up at night, etc) I reduced my activity levels (as I was overdoing it anyway) The pain is still with me, but I have no swelling in the knee and there was NO specific injury... It seem to arise from overuse?

Which would fit right into the TMS profile as I was overloading my "mental wheelbarrow"...

Would anyone think I should visit a doc to rule out anything major in the knee?

I'm leaning against it as there is no swelling or specific incident....

But as you can imagine, the doubt creeps in sometimes....

Thanks

If this was my knee, I would let it rest, if you're a worrier, like me, see a doctor but be careful of MRIs, doctors diagnosing pictures,
etc. Many of my running friends have had arthroscopic surgery that didn't do anything, because it looked on the MRI like it should do something. Sounds more like the extra stress may be allowing the gremlin back in.
