except to post my recovery story on success stories when I have full confidence that I won't get old, conditioned pain again. This last thread proved to me that the integrity of this forum has been compromised because some choose to use it in a selfish way, playing some kind of role, like a psychotic Shakespearean Johnny Appleseed and in a way that closes out all thinking save that of the scant pages of screed printed by Dr. Sarno. How can a doctor encapsulate in a few hundred pages the experiences of more than 11,000 patients and offer a treatment program that resonates with everyone in chronic pain? It is impossible. I love that the doc has written his books, but in the end, we all get better on our own.

To those of you who answered my questions, a million hugs and kisses. May the world treat you well, and may you remain pain free. I have a little way to go yet, but it's within sight. I also realize that I don't have any way of helping people get better yet, so sharing my views is of no real use to anyone else.

I wish all of you the best. I am outta here!

Au revoir CSMoon. I enjoyed our exchanges and your contributions. Do what you have to do and remember there are people here who are good to bounce ideas around with. I think majority of us are goodists who want to help others, regardless of how it may come across (or be interpreted) sometimes.

Personally I have a tough time with any type of confrontation. The good folks here helped me recognize that in myself and diminish my fears of these things.

All the best to you and I look forward to your recovery story, which I know is in the making!!!!!

*******
Sarno-ize it!
Read chapter 4 of Dr. Sarno's "The Divided Mind." Also chapers 3, 4 and 5 in Dr. Scott Brady's "Pain Free For Life" are very important.

Oh, good lord. This forum is a public forum. Some people use public forums in ways others would rather they not; it doesn't compromise the entire forum. It is entirely possible to just ignore those people.

I'm all for leaving or staying as you please, but the drama that people like to put out around leaving is usually pretty bogus.

good luck moon.

I understand the frustration when people leave who are not purists or get annoyed w/ the purists. But....it is a TMS site. Not a "try this for chronic pain" site.

I feel this cycle will continue w/ this site forever. Perhaps the "try this" (other than TMS treatment) mentality is meant in good spirits from those w/ the best intentions....

But in the end, it's sidetracking people looking for TMS treatment and possibly derailing their progress.

Best of luck csmoon, you make some good points! I wish you all the best for a 100% recovery!
