I need to hear from anyone if they had this extreme electricial stabbing nerve pain just appear in 2nd. to last toe. It is most dibilating and it happened once before. I have a big day tomorrow with this Halloween painting contest and I am in charge of my 10 year old's group! I found out today I still have this low grade ecoli UTI and are back on antibiotics (again). I think the toe thing is popping up to really through me for a loop!! I can't seem to get off this TMS track. Anyone experience this type of toe pain?? I do have polyneurophy and think it is all part of that but never sure when it comes to TMS.

I am the same person...good memory!! Neuroma was ruled out. The same thing happened again (after trying on shoes again!) The gremlin returned I guess and my toe has simmered down somewhat since my post but it was the exact electrical extremely painful event. I think this is TMS. At least that is what I tell myself.

Didn't you originally have a possible neuroma at one point? Are you the same person?

Holly -- this sounds similar to what you had before if maybe a bit changed in quality and magnitude. Why are you so focused on this particular instance of the symptom? Sounds like you are under stress. You know what to do to find out if it's TMS -- do the change in your thinking to get away from the symptom mindset, do the work. Or just ignore it and see if it goes away.
