Posted - 09/27/2007 : 19:17:56 Glad to have found this forum. I am familiar with Sarno's work on back pain etc. but my particular interest now is a family member with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Sarno's books seem to only briefly touch on this subject. I am also familiar with Howard Stern's references to this in his book.
I have searched and read several postings in this forum on the subject of OCD. I would like to find a therapist in the Wilmington, DE to Philadelphia, PA area that uses Sarno's methods . By the way, a call to Sarno's office was not very helpful.
There was recently a posting that refered to the Tar Pit Yoga listing of doctors. Unfortunately none were less than 1.5 to 2 hours from me, which is not very practical. Also, these appeared to be mainly general practitioner types. Is there a similar list for mental health professionals?
Thanks.
John
