Posted - 09/10/2007 : 09:20:24 I really thought that I was doing very well. I was essentially pain free for 3 days, but today I have the pain again. I just don't understand why. I have started a new job that I like even thought there is pressure to learn everything. I do have to drive farther and I don't like the drive. I am just frustrated because I had myself feeling like I was done with it all. I was ready to move on with my life and not have the pain ever again!!!!
I guess that I just have to stay focused and recognize that I am winning if I was pain free for 3 days. Also, I am convincing myself more and more that nothing but TMS can be gone for 2-3 days at a time. Right?!

Posted - 09/10/2007 : 09:49:41 It is critical to take a long-term view. There will be ups and downs throughout the recovery process. It is not uncommon to endure flare-ups that are even more severe than the original pain. The brain will not give up its strategy without a fight. |
