Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has started a TMS support group anywhere near Menlo Park/Redwood City. 3 years ago I was given a Sarno book and through study and writing, became completely pain free from many years of severe neck pain.

I now have symptoms now in two different areas. First: Can't sit down! Very uncomfortable pain near the anus when sitting for any lenth of time. Even my M.D., when he couldn't find a physical source, suggested that it is a muscle spasm induced by tension. I've done the Sarno method for several months now, writing and re-reading the "Mindbody Prescription". Nothing has worked so far.

Second: A painful buzzing in my left ear in response to even slightly elevated noises. This includes people's voices that I am conversing with or even my own voice when elevated slightly. This has been diagnosed as "recruitment". I feel this symptom may be a TMS equivalent.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Feel free to email.

There are several past topics about Bay Area gatherings. There was one almost a year ago, I think, and one was discussed more recently, but didn't happen.

I'd certainly be up for it, especially if it is on the Peninsula. :-)
