I decided my web site was a little drab so I added some pics and a little more text for clarification. If anyone finds any typos or other problems please let me know. Link is below.

I wonder what Dean Ornish, MD would say about TMS? I would love to know.

Sarno-ize it!
Read chapter 4 of Dr. Sarno's "The Divided Mind." It's all you need to know in order to recover.

Thanks, kelvin--that's a great summary of resources. I will be recommending it to my patients!

For real, I think that Kim Ruby has one of the best understandings of the TMS theory that I have read thus far. Do you have this piece that I found a few months back? I didn't get it from her website but, it might be there, dunno. I think it reads as good as any complete book when it comes to the whole TMS concept...wrapped all up into one simple article. You might want to add it as a separate article, what say you?

Thanks, ~S~.
I had planned to eventually put some kind of pic beside most of the links. It just got late and I figured I would finish the rest later. But, since you asked...wish granted. I also added a comment next to the link to her site.
As for the link you've recommended; I try to not have duplicates and everything at the stjohn site is on Kim Ruby's site. But, thanks for the suggestion and GBU2!

To rjm about Dr. Brady's book/video; I have read all of Sarno's books and Dr. Brady's book and have both Drs videos. I personally got more out of Sarno's material but my wife and my mother say that Brady's material was much easier to understand and apply. I did like the fact that Brady addresses the importance for Christians to make sure that their relationship with God is not out of balance. Of course, a person does not have to believe in Jesus to benefit from the TMS diagnosis and treatment, it is just that Christians will have unresolved issues and a source of guilt, fear, shame and host of other negative emotions if we are not at peace with Him.

Later,
Kelvin

thanks for your site! I had a few minutes to explore last night and it's very helpful having a collection of links in one place. I really appreciated the one to Dr. Brady's video. I have been waiting to have his book come in on hold from the library, so I watched the video last night fascinated, as much of what he said really hit me in a new way that I have not gotten from my previous readings and reviews of resources.

In fact, so much so that I only woke up once during the night--when I usually wake several times, and both that time and in the morning, I had almost no pain/spasming in my outer calf, which has been my MO. In fact, my calf was loose with no numbness for the first time in about two months. I have also made it throughout my day without any issues. I don't expect that this is completely gone...yet, but something certainly clicked and got to my subconscious last night That's progress.

I don't mean the religious overtones as that's not me, but this was another worthwhile TMS resource (although he says AOS), and especially one that has certainly been in our shoes himself.
