When you talk to someone and they discuss their physical problems with you. However, most of us here know what TMS is, and which symptoms are actually TMS.

I had a conversation with a classmate of mine, and she had kneepains. Structural diagnosis from her doctor was minor minuscus tear. Now this one might be a bit touchy as i'm not 100% sure it is TMS. But she was open to the idea that stress could cause pain. Several in my class also have low backpain.

In any case during these talks i never really let out that i know about TMS. Until i find out they are open to the idea that the pain might not just be physical. Then i usually tell them that i have a few books, about the subject. And that, that book has led me to recover from my symptoms. Then i tell them i would be willing to share the ideas with them. But even then i still get looks sometime, or they say it's crazy talk.

So, i was wondering what do you do?

You introduce the topic and if people are not receptive then back off.

Sarno-ize it!
Do you have a pain-prone personality?

I think you're doing all you can do. Put the idea out there and after that it's up to the individual. Some people are open to the idea, many to most are not. We learn from bitter experience that as much as we might like to, we can't save the world...
