TMS theory is all about how we unconsciously store emotions, suppress them, etc.

And what do antidepressants do, SSRIs in particular? They block our emotions, make us feel emotionally-blunted, sometimes we are like zombies. Where do our unfelt emotions go? And we only know what the antidepressants are doing to us on a conscious level, the feelings and emotions that we could actually feel. What about the entire realm of unconscious feelings? Does anybody even have the faintest clue of what antidepressants do to our unconscious mind?

Anybody seeing the link that I just made? Essentially, it seems as though the antidepressants are being used to block our emotions, toss them inside and lock them up, exactly what TMS is saying would definitely cause problems. Maybe that is why it feels like an emotional wall is being torn down when getting off the pills, because they have just stuffed everything inside and it is all trying to get out at once.

You guys have any ideas on this?

good point, I went on zoloft for just 3 days a couple mos ago. Because of the insomnia I dropped them, only to go thru about 36hrs of the worst depression ever.

Also, I think in the MBP (not sure) Sarno speculates that the stuffed emotions from antidepressents could emerge as cancer down the road.

Interesting. Hadn't thought about this before. I agree
