I just wonder
When I drink alcohol my fatigue and pain subsides a lot.
I am not a heavy drinker -I talk about a glass of wine or two.
I this conditioning or is it that alcohol raise my levels of
serotinin or what?
Anyone with similar experiences?

yeah, canabis made the pain much worse for me too. I think it might have something to do with the fact that pot tends to heighten your anxieties.

When I drink alcohol generally my pain will subside, because for me it stops me thinking about it... ie generally less aware. When I'm drinking I am more easily entertained and able to focus on one single thing as opposed to also thinking about my pain in the background.

But it depends on the person. I gave up canabis , because it created extra pain... I think mainly because it made me focus on the pain with a single-mindedness....

It can help with relief but that it is definitely no form of cure!

I actually noticed that my pain gets worse.

But from the little I know, alcohol has been used as a painkiller.
