Everyone -- For the past few weeks, I have had intermittent pain on my right side that appears very much like gallbladder pain. I had an MRI on my gallbladder last year that was normal. I am going in to see my doctor, but of course I am wondering in my head whether this is TMS rather than something physical. Has anyone experienced gallbladder type symptoms -- right side pain, gas, bloating, etc. -- that turned out to be TMS?

Thanks.

Jeff

Hi Jeff,
Had almost the exact thing you described. Right sided abdominal pain, tender points, gas and bloating. After about 3 weeks I figured I should check it out. Ultrasound, bloodwork and stool samples all normal. My doc said I should see a GI doc - thought it might be IBS. This made me laugh inside and relieved! I read TMS instead. It has since improved and thus far, I've had no need for any other doctors. I wish you well. Nor

I actually had my gall bladder removed years ago during a time of heavy stress and then continued to have the same darn symptoms off and on for a few years til I discovered sarno. In my case it was tms. Symptoms all gone now. Good luck to you. Vicki

Jeff, I had the same exact thing last year ... yes TMS. They checked me for gall bladder and kidney stones, and ended up spending a fortune on a ton of other tests. (This was before I learned about TMS.) I was in agony and was Dxed with fibromyalgia as I'd been dealing with the pain sydrome for months.) When I started journaling and looking at my gremlins, I got better.

Hang in there!

Hi Jeff,

I have a daughter who continues to have all the symptoms of gall bladder problems even after having her gallbladder removed and having stones removed from the duct. She also has terrible sciatica pain and I believe it's all related to her high stress, rage-inducing life. I also have a son who has pain that feels just like when he had a kidney stone, even though he doesn't have a stone now and the urologist keeps telling him the pain is from something else. He has a very high stress, rage-inducing life too. So I suspect that they both are experiencing TMS which is mimicking symptoms from past medical situations. If your doctor checks you out and thinks you're fine, I'd suspect it could be TMS. But it's good that you're checking with the doctor, just in case.
