Posted - 04/04/2007 : 13:48:03 I am not making any money from this, so I don’t think it is inappropriate to share it…
I often write for a variety of online magazines and recently had this article syndicated on a variety of news sites:

I am trying desperately to spread the word about TMS. Hope you enjoy it. -Sensei

Posted - 04/06/2007 : 19:10:16 With no offense to anyone, I don't have any problem with Sensei mentioning his site here. He's a TMS devotee and practitioner, which are few and far between.
He gives sound, accurate advice, in a rational way (which is more than I can say for myself at times).

Posted - 04/06/2007 : 13:36:06 I see no problem with promoting this article since it is NOT on my site. There is NO promotion to my site in this post at all...
LitaM, nothing wrong with my site, I get dozens of submissions everyday through that form. The challenge graphic is new this week since I was being spammed literally to death (over 500 a day). Sorry you had trouble, but you can always email me or just write to me here.
As a general note, this is one of the few forums I have ever seen that is most interested in NOT promoting anyone or anything else, rather than providing an open and helpful atmosphere for people interested in relevant information. I can understand spam submissions, but I think some judgment should be exercised to allow more helpful resources to be posted in order to reach an audience it can actually help. I am here to learn and to assist, same as all of you. My site is doing well on its own and I pay for advertising elsewhere so I do not need to get it for free from cheap mentions here. If I do mention it, it is just because I feel it is appropriate to the post and might help. It is also ironic that shawnsmith is the one who drew me here with a comment from this forum on my site originally. I get some satisfaction from that! haha ...Just my 2 cents, don't spend them all at once...lol... Peace, Sensei

Posted - 04/06/2007 : 10:29:29 What was negative about what I posted? I was merely pointing out a fact. Read what you want into it, but it was not "negative" as you assert.

Posted - 04/06/2007 : 09:59:30 Shawn, That kind of negative post directed at another member has no place on this forum. And there is nothing wrong with Sensei's post about a very postitive article about TMS. Thanks for posting it. I hope it gets picked up far and wide.

Posted - 04/06/2007 : 08:22:23 I am sure Art will have something to say soon about you promoting your website on this forum. He rags on Karen all the time for posting her website so if he is consistent you will be hearing from him. God I can't stand people who are so legalistic.

Posted - 04/06/2007 : 05:30:15 Sensei, I tried emailing you a question on your site, I couldn't get the message sent. I kept on putting the correct word in the box to show that it wasn't a spam and it kept on saying incorrect word. Very frustrating!! What is wrong with your site?? |
