I'll just throw this out there. Hamstring (back of thigh) tightness, like someone squeezing it. Anyone ever have this? I wrote about this last year when I had it. It finally went away after about 6-8 months, but it started up again a few days ago. I also had it about 5 yrs ago when it also lasted many months.

It is not painful. I'm only aware of it when I am walking or running. Often, it seems to run up the the buttock on the same side, which feels a bit sore when I sit on a hard chair. It is not the same all the time, but changes from day to day. There is no loss of strength.

I have had that for years on and off. After I had back Surgury I asked the surgeon why and he said: well you beat up on the nerve for so long! (meaning I waited too long to get surgury). I get leg cramps so bad that at times that the back of my thy muscle gets a large knot in it and my calf muscle turns concave. Just tms and it comes and goes over the years and I have pretty good control over it as of late. The real reason is he does not know. Paul.

Yup, I've had it. I had it for like a week off and on. Ran through it and chalked it up to TMS. It went away.
