That doctor is Andrea Leonard Segal, Rheumatologist. It is a common experience that most psychological pain suffers never really know if their pain is truly psychosomatic until it goes away. Good quote!

There was one of the TMS docs ( I cannot recall which one off hand) in TDM who wrote that she taught her TMS patients to see themselves the way she sees them, completely healthy with no physical problems or maladies. How do you see yourself?

I like that very much...I think it's a more profound way of saying that we can't get truly better until we change who we are in some essential way..Until we can see that, recovery is far from a settled issue.
