Hey everyone!

I no longer have TMS after reading Dr. John Sarno's books and also Fred Amir's book. It took me a couple months but I got over 98% of the pain.

After reading Fred Amir's book I had to agree with him that not only repressed emotions but also continuing stress had a great deal to play with the onset of TMS. So, I set out to destroy stress and my continual frustration of not being able to concentrate (losing keys, daydreaming, etc). I continually kept running into things about mindfulness and "The power of now". However, these books say alot in the way of spiritual fulfillment but not alot on getting over pain. Also, I try and stay away from the invogue New Age icon of the moment.

Due to one of my other hobbies I have started to work on myself in the areas of mental mastery (ie. concentration exercises, syncing right and left hemispheres, etc). Anyway, I ran into a FREE online book that has totally changed my outlook on TMS and the "Mind body connection". Yes, Sarno's theory is correct but he only goes so far with his diagnosis. This tension will manifest in different ways if one does not change bad habits. This book totally changed the way I feel through out the day, I never lose my keys, I have no mental fogginess, even my eyesight is getting less blurry.

The book in question is "How to Control your Brain At Will" and it is free if you look it up in Google. A Week after starting the Awarness exercise (first one) I could FEEL the part of my brain that was active when I was in the moment and I could get there easier and easier. Just this one exercise released so much pent up tension. Also, there is NO depression or anxiety of any kind when you are in the moment, only a subtle feeling of joy that gets stronger and stronger with practice.

In the book he talks about tension building up in the mind and so the mind releases it in the body. He says this commonly get diagnosed as a disk problem!

Basically this book takes a proactive approach to ending TMS pain, mental health problems, foggy brain, etc.

This book is not really about releasing stress, but more about building new neural networks in the brain that naturally will by pass stress, foggy brain, forgetfulness. As a by product you will be able to focus like a laser, have no mental health problems, become smarter, end TMS pain.

BTW, it is free here :

PS. I had to write this very quickly because I am at work, so sorry for any mistakes. Kind of Ironic considering I was writing about awareness. lol!
