Posted - 01/30/2007 : 20:17:18 I heard someone I slightly know complaining about health issues recently. She was about to have all kinds of surgery. I recommended TDM.
She had recently left a message on my voice mail. I just called her back and she says she's been more or less cured from fibro after years, just from reading it. I invited her here, to help with a few lingering aches and pains.
I feel so happy about this!

Posted - 02/03/2007 : 15:35:21 What's more difficult is being "in the trenches" so to speak, working in healthcare, but not as a doctor. I'm very new to the field but see patients who would benefit from Sarno's work. It's not necessarily out of the domain of my profession but I have to be soooooo careful of what I say. I temporarily have a supervisor who's open to Sarno's ideas though has never looked at his work, but still..... I'm not yet licensed, and even once I am, the allied sciences aren't exactly embracing TMS. |

I really agree that you have to forget you told them so that you don't get too invested, and also so they don't start avoiding you because they don't want you asking how they are doing. They might feel it awkward to have to say they don't or can't believe in the TMS dx.
I have loaned out (and lost) the books many times, but I have multiple copies. If the message is that important, what's another few bucks.
Great thread, Wavy! |

For me, I try to let people know and then do my best to forget I ever told them so I don't get invested in the outcome!
My mom seems to be coming around a bit more lately. I am optimistic! :-)

Part of me doesn't want to be that way, but it's one of the most high -producing efforts in terms of souls saved per 3 words...
Yes, join the TMS Commandos everyone. The good thing is that it helps you emphasize the successes you're having, which increases them.

Posted - 01/30/2007 : 20:35:29 There is this guy at work.
A couple years ago I was eating lunch in the kitchen at work and he was at the next table telling a co-worker about how he couldn't go on with his back pain, and that he was at his wits end. Tomorrow he was going to go back to the doc and schedule surgery.
I asked him a few key questions about his personality, and the nature of his life and his pain. The next day I gave him my copy of HBP.
Yesterday we passed in the hallway. He stopped me and told me that he went skiing last weekend, and that he never thought 2 years ago that would ever happen again. He had a big smile. Sarno spared him uncounted pain, suffering and dollars.
TMS Commandos? Rock Rock On!! |
