Sarno is so right about what he calls symptom imperative (I think?). My pain was in my back for years; since I've been reading Sarno this year every day my back is just about "normal," and the pain moved to my right leg, especially my hamstring. Ortho told me the back pain was from three degenerated discs...if so, why the hell would my LEG hurt? It aches and burns frequently, but I know it's mental so I just ignore it and walk it off, and it goes away by the end of the day, to return in the morning. MUCH better to deal with than back pain, for sure. Thank you Sarno!
