Quick question on symptoms...

Has anyone else noticed abnormally large dilation of the pupils as a symptom of autonomic overload?

Mine are often so large that people think I'm on drugs - no joke!

The small case "vision" refers to how accurate or sharp your eyesight is for viewing an eye chart for instance.

The large case "VISION" refers to esoteric insights from the mind.

PS, remember my vision question from before. Eyes have been bothering me significantly less since posting. So, combo of realizing symptom imperative and decreasing stress. Still gonna get a check up, though.

Since doing the TMS work, my eyes have improved. My optician told me that she cannot understand why contact lense pescription had to be taken down a notch. I just smiled.

Hi Floorten,

If vision is a concern for you, may I recommed books by Dr. Robert-Michael Kaplan. The two I have read a while ago and I found very useful for vision/VISION were:

SEEING WITHOUT GLASSES and THE POWER BEHIND YOUR EYES

I feel they are compatible with TMS theory and deal with non-invasive methods of maintaing and improving vision without constantly incresaing eyeglass prescription strengths. In fact his methods can decrease lens strengths.

He deals with emotional issues that effect vision. To my recollection Dr. Kaplan's vision parallels what Dr. Sarno professes.

I tried looking up your specific question, but the books aren't indexed and made it difficult.

Good Luck,

tt

Almost always. It depends on the light, but I'd say always they are more dilated than the other people in the same room. By low artificial light my pupils are almost 100% dilated, whereas other people's may only be 60-70%

Eye doctor finds nothing unusual with my eyes and my sight is fine.

Are they ALWAYS dilated, or just when you are stressed? Perhaps it's TMS, or perhaps you were born this way. Do you see an eye doctor?
