Posted - 09/20/2004 : 19:01:24 Hi everyone! I suffered from TMS for almost two years and am now over 80% back to normal after reading Dr Sarno's books and working on myself alot. First let me thank whoever is keeping up this forum because it helped me alot in my hours of need. It's a great service you guys are doing! Thanks so much! There IS light at the end of the tunnel!
Now here is my question: I just spoke with my father who is French and doesn't speak english and he is flat on his back and all his symptoms just scream TMS. Looking on the net I couldn't find Dr Sarno's book translated... Do any of you know of some similar books in French? I would love to be able to help him understand what's taking place and get better soon...
Thanks for your help! Satya |

Posted - 09/24/2004 : 22:45:35 Thanks Anne! I looked up what you suggested in Google but TMS in France stands for something other than the TMS we are talking about... But I did find a few things by adding the word "tension"... It's just too bad that Sarno's book isn't translated... it could help so many more people...

Posted - 09/22/2004 : 02:13:17 Hi Satya
I looked for a TMS practioner in the UK last year and found none. In fact there doesn't appear to be any. There are none listed for France either - or for the whole of Europe in fact. Interest in Europe in TMS (apart from the UK where Dr Sarno's books sell quite well) appears to be very limited. Amazon. fr has nothing on the subject that I can find.
I did do a google search for 'la douleur psychologique TMS' and there are some articles that came up. Might be worth a search through them. Good luck and best wishes.
