Well, im slowly working to apply Sarno like techniques to myself, and i know im on the right path.
I noticed runningpain.com in another post, and, after seeing a few of his 'samples' of his book, it intruiged me further to read his own interpretation of Sarnos work.
The name suggests it may just be a 'lite' version of Sarnos book, and maybe like a H'ealing back Pain', but i can only describe it as a fantastic read. I really find the detail he goes into about emotions, why we feel the need to repress them, automatically, and, how to go about becoming more aware of this far far better than the techniques used in sarnos book. They may be enough for most people but i honestly needed 'this' book for the penny to drop. Its great, and makes you feel very 'normal' It goes to show that TMS isnt so much something we suffer from, its something that as humans, we can experience. Ultimately, as we all know, with TMS, it doesnt matter what we are 'suffering' from, the ideology behind it is the same, and this book does a GREAT job and explaining it.
The fact that we have discovered how emotions can control our physical being, for me is a fantastic one, and now i know where im going wrong, as a person, i can become ultimately a more inwardly self-accepting and WHOLE person, someone who i think i may never have been had i not discovered, or even suffered from it ENOUGH to want to find a way out. . . .so for that, im thankful to TMS.
If you havnt got the ebook, i really recommend you download it. Its very enlightening.
