Can anyone recommend a way to get to sleep at night without worrying so much. I lay in bed and get so freaked out by the first spasm. Then I get anxious and then it is a chain reaction. Then more pain. My pain comes in waves. Are Muscle Relaxers or Sleep pills okay or does that go against Dr. Sarno. I am desperate for sleep so I can stay awake at work.

Thanks for the replies

Matt

I don't know if it's right or wrong but I take Ambien and it works great. I have had sleeping problems for years. Tried tylenol pm and it was hit or miss. I found ambien before Sarno. I don't know if he would approve, but it hasn't inhibited my recovery. I was sick of feeling like a zombie every day. The more you can't sleep you worry that you can't sleep and then for sure you can't sleep.
