I had problems with my back last year all sorts of tests but nothing
found. friend had come across Dr Sarnos book and one by Fred amir.
Read thenm all and were a great help in overcoiming problem
partciularly when scans showed nothing.

Last summer had a a problem that I have had had before food felt
like it was getting stuck on way down. eating thick food seemd to
cause disconfit.

Now been living on diet of thin soup, ice cream and ready brek for
nearly a year.

Gone through all medical tests and have found fault wirh oesophogus
in that it is not working properly all the tiem.

My symptoms seem to be much worse than the specialist would have
expected them to be. Wondered whether TMS coudl be a factor but can
find no one on the internet who has been in similar situation . no
one in the books
withiout believe there is no cure.

Any thoughts any help or suggestions welcome

tim

I have this symptom as well and i've had it for many years. I never got it checked medically as i just chalked it up to another TMS symptom. Also my mom reports the same problem. If it was something serious like esophagal cancer I and she would have been dead long ago.Your've had it checked medically so there's nothing to fear.

Hi Tim,

In Dr. Sarno's new book, THE DIVIDED MIND, he mentions Esophagospasm on page 14 and Globus Hystericus, (feeling of a lump in the throat), on page 70.

Almost any body part can be a TMS spot, under the axiom of the "symptom imperative".

Good Luck,
tt
