The pain isn't going away and I also have anxiety attacks. I know there are definitely a ton of psychotherapists in manhattan. I was wondering if anybody has seen a psychotherapist in Queens who knows about TMS. Thanx. -daniel

Hi Daniel,

Anxiety is a TMS affective equivalent. I have had several myself usually about 10 years apart that I think are heart-attacks. I go to the doc or ER and they always tell me I am in perfect physical health. After the white-coat reassurance, I immedeiately feel better. Nothing like fearing, that, you are experiencting a heart-attack, and are about to die, to instill anxiety.

Check-out this website for TMS practitioners :

I would not waste my time or money on a non-TMS psychotherapist if it's not an
emergency. I don't know where Queens is in relation to Dr. Sarno but I'm sure it would be worth the cross-town trip to see him or get a referral for a TMS psychotherapist from his office.

Good Luck,
tt
