I really think Tom was onto something when he suggested we start a TMS fight club so we call ALL release some of our unconscious rage!! LOL... I received an anonymous email today from someone who didn't have the guts to reveal their identity to me...It was a mean spirited message accusing me of having an empty life because I post so much..And asking me why I chose to stay on when I spoke of leaving last week...

In my view, anyone who goes out of their way to write such a thing to someone they don't even know clearly has something 'missing' in their life...Why allow Me and My posting to upset you so? It is a free country, and an open forum, right? One can chose with their own free will to pass over anyone's posting on here...You are not forced to read anything or respond to anyone...

If my postings were all so useless or annoying then why is it that they stir up some great conversations on here so often? Not only conversations between myself and others but also conversations in general...I know it is not a race, lol..and I wouldn't even mention this if not provoked, but many of my postings have over 20 replies...And, for the most part, the people I have connected with on here are wonderful, open hearted/minded souls who haven't had such a negative reaction to my postings! If you are one of the few who are sooooo freaked out by my postings then get over it and leave me alone!

I am a grown woman in my 40's for goodness sakes, stop reading my posts and move on! I will slow down my posting as I feel better...And my goal is to continue on here after I feel better for the sole purpose of helping others recover! I love to help others and it is quite rare that I am this needy...Aside from being a professional singer and artist I also have an advanced degree in Psychology if you must know...So judging me as being selfish because I have reached out so much on here is just way off...I spent many years helping others and I am good at it! Anyone who knows me, really knows me would never describe me as being selfish, quite the opposite...overly giving...This is just a phase I am in, part of my healing...It too shall pass...

I am quite aware that my personality is intense and I am outspoken at times, guess it is part of being a Jersey girl, lol..I am also aware that I post alot and come across as needy...I own that...Right now, in my life..I am more needy then usual and I am not afraid to admit that to anyone...I have lost many very close loved ones prematurely and I am living in a town I do not like, until I can afford to move and my neck is up to it..These unfortunate realities are what caused my neck TMS to kick in so hard core 7 weeks ago...

I am pressing on, doing the work and utilizing whatever tools I can to get well..and I will...I am deeply grateful to the wonderful friends I have made on here and look forward to sharing happier times with you in the future...As for the few bullies out there, well...I suppose they are part of my lesson as well...

Yikes...I didn't realize that by editing previous posts they show up as a live topic again...lol...oh well...I had to do it...it was the only way to delete my private email address from previous posts...
Singer_Artist Posted - 07/12/2006 : 14:25:12
I figured it out!!! I cannot believe it, lol..I am so bad on computers...I am going to delete just my email whereever it was previously...Thanx Hilary and Jay!
Singer_Artist Posted - 07/12/2006 : 14:01:58
Thanx dear friend...Well...I hate to bother him with such things...We'll see...I may just see if we can get our printer fixed, print the threads out containing my email and then delete the whole thing...
wolf29 Posted - 07/12/2006 : 13:57:02
Just deleting the email might be something that only Dave can do. I don't see an edit feature once you post something. Which is why we should all use our words carefully
Singer_Artist Posted - 07/12/2006 : 13:54:17
That's true..I don't need that! hehe...How do I go about just deleting my email in the post without deleting the entire thread? Do you know?
wolf29 Posted - 07/12/2006 : 13:51:09
When you get a chance see if you can get your email deleted from those posts. It's more than just someone emailing from here, but you could start to get all sorts of spam email ads from mortgages to viagra.

Not that I need either
Singer_Artist Posted - 07/12/2006 : 13:41:02
Hi again Hilary...I figured out how to find the posts that I have my email included in...There are three...Geez...lol..what was I thinking? I tried to print them out b4 deleting but our printer is on the blink...I don't want to delete them without first having a copy, there was some valuable insights in those posts from others...Anyway, it's ok...if someone really feels the need to write a nasty letter to me, let them...I was angry but it has passed...I have let it go when I wrote this post...I have way more important things to think about then these bully types on here...I have my upcoming art exhibit at the library to prepare for whether I am in pain or not...Thanx for the suggestion though, it was a good one...And once the printer is fixed I might just do that..
Hugs to you,
Karen

Thanx Hilary,
You are so right..I didn't think of that...I cannot remember which post of mine has my email in it? Do you know? And how would I go about just removing the email part and not having to delete the whole thread? I am not the greatest on computer, lol...I have a good friend who lives in London, btw...Hoping to visit her one day...maybe when I do we can meet as well..Haven't been to the UK since 1989...just love it there!
Take care,
Karen

Singer Artist,
It might be a good idea to remove your email address from your previous posts. If any forum members want to email you they can do so through the email facility by clicking on your profile. That way the email won't be anonymous and your email address isn't revealed unless you reply to them. By posting your email address you're opening yourself up to this kind of email and all sorts of spam from non-members.

Correction : TMS FIGHT CLUB came from DRZIGGLES, not me--i wasn't dooin' nuttin', i didn'n see a ting, i was mindin' my own bizniss.

Wolf, we need streaming video of the cat fight.

HEHEHE!!! OMG that is hilarious that I couldn't think of the slang name for 2 men fighting! You are funny! Was fun talking about a light subject such as weather with you...And as Beth pointed out b4 we should try to find humor in things sometimes and not take ourselves so seriously...I cannot wait to be back to my usual happy go lucky self again...I know it will happen...Hope you have a great day! I am off to go JOURNAL...Doing well w/ the reading, etc...but have been procrastinating on the most important thing...journaling!
wolf29 Posted - 07/12/2006 : 11:37:59
Let's just say it's another word for rooster

It's muggy and cloudy here today. Overall it's been a nice summer with humidity on the lower side. Lots of rain in early June though.
Singer_Artist Posted - 07/12/2006 : 11:33:26
You do? What is it called? Fill me in...Sounds like I might get a good laugh out of it.. How's the weather in my favorite state today?

LOL. If it's between 2 men I know what that's called
Singer_Artist Posted - 07/12/2006 : 11:26:35
Nah...no cat fights will be necessary, Jay...I am a peace lover...I have voiced what I needed to about this subject and I am done with it...I wrote this also in reaction to many other fights I have seen on here since I joined...And some were between men..so what would that be called...hmm...Dog fight..?

Watch out for Jersey girls

I do like the title of this thread though

If we all can't interact politely and there is going to be a catfight as Tom said, then photos to accompany the catfight would be helpful
