Posted - 07/01/2006 : 15:20:23 Lately I've been been experiencing a large part of my day without pain then I will for example go out for dinner, go to one of my kids sporting events and have pain. Afterwards I feel very down. (I use to be able to do this without pain, why me, when will this be over etc.) I then catch myself and recover. However its the constant up and down feelings that get to me, I'm either feeling good physically and emtionally or bad. Is this a sign of recovery. Anyone else have a similar experience? By the way anyone catch the Sox beating the Cubs with two outs in the ninth? |

Thanks for your response. I continue to work on what I'm feeling emotionally its just nice to talk sports. Distractions help otherwise we become too pre-occupied. That was me once upon a time. |

I did see England lose. I thought they were going to pull it out. I was roooting for them. As for me I had a good evening. I tried to think positive and forget about the pain. |

Posted - 07/01/2006 : 17:39:07 I understand how you feel Chicago...I am still in the thick of it with my neck, but have some relief here and there...It will directly affect my mood..When the pain is less I am much happier..It is natural to get a little depressed when you are in pain and limited in what you can do...Just keep doing the inner work, that is what I am doing..and it seems to be helping.. |

Posted - 07/01/2006 : 15:37:35 No, but I saw England lose to Portugal in the World Cup (and Brazil to France). I'm sorry you're feeling down. It is hard when you're in pain - I guess you've just got to tell yourself it'll pass, based on previous experience.
