What happened to you after Santa Cruz and seeing Dr. Eisendorf. What did he say? Why didn't it help your TMS? If I recall you had to stand-up through the group session because of your TMS pain.

Karen, take the cruise, if you are going to be miserable you may as well be miserable in a deck-chair. I have never personally been on one but they sound great. Unlike the recent media-ratings-madness, about what great debauches they are, mostly they are attended by retirees with their own health issues, especially the ones to Alaska.

They have on-board clinics and doctors who can handle any routine medical problems. Ask them for a wheel-chair.I just bought my 83 year old father a sporty new electric wheelcahir. It is an Invacare A'TM. It was only $1,375.00 over the internet and is very light and portable. I might get one for myself, so we can race around the independent living ranch he lives at now. You'll see plenty of infirm oldsters navigating the decks.

I see what you are saying about there being alot of retirees on there Tom...makes sense...A wheelchair wouldn't help me, it's my neck not my back...If the boat was a bit rocky, that would irritate things...My big concern is the car rides and plane rides to get there...If i could snap my fingers and be there, I would go...But i cannot even be in a car to go to the corner store, unless i want the symptoms to escalate further...Eisendorf was good but only a one time thing...I got better after that and didn't do the necessary work, ie..the journelling, writing that Sarno suggests re. our past anger, life pressures..etc...I started it but it was draining and i stopped..I am looking into a phone consult with Dr. Sopher and therapy with Don Dubin...I think i fall into the 20 percent who needs therapy to get beyond this...I can hardly move my neck and cannot look up at all..The pain is onething butthis mobility issue and the neurological stuff like tingling, intermittant burning, twitching, etc is scary stuff...I just can't do anything that might make it worse..Guess i am still not 100 percent convinced it isn't partly structural...although everyone seems to think it is...The Xray that darn Nucca chiro showed me scared me..He said my head was tilted left and my neck was in an S curve...Bad thing tohear and get out of my head! I am between a rock and a hard place with this...I am praying alot and that is a good thing, getting closer to God/Jesus then ever b4...I am eating great..very healthy however I WANT TO HEAL and have it be for good this time...I cannot force my head to move better, that only makes things tighten more and get worse...So i have to work on my faith in the TMS diagnosis without having seen Dr.Sarno...I wish i could go see him but he only sees people local to him...i am doing the best i can right now, and it doesn't seem to be good enough cuz i am suffering terrible..This forum is definitely helpful too...Thank you for caring..I welcome your messages...
God bless,
Karen
