Posted - 05/02/2006 : 13:06:31 anyone out there having success with hand/wrist/thumb pain? not 'carpal tunnel' but weak thumb/forefinger pinch grip w/pain in the base of the thumbs? please, if something has been useful for you let me know. Ihave been through every other kind of therapy (movement, massage, acupuncture, etc etc ad nauseum) and everything helped 'a little' but problem is not solved. Anyone seen any TMS doctors with a similar condition and improved, who was the Doc?

Posted - 05/04/2006 : 23:07:57 I've had hand pain, but not quite like yours. Mine was in the palm of my hand and seemed to be aggravated by computer use. I was really into wrist supports and keyboards that only required a light touch. The hand pain went away with all my other chronic pain when I followed Dr. Sarno's technique. I now use the computer as much as I want and use whatever keyboard it came with.

Posted - 05/03/2006 : 08:20:07 I had nothing but base of the thumb pain for seven years. Weak and sore, painful as heck. Stopped living for the most part.
I tried everything. Accupuncture, massage, rest, iontoferesis, therapy, you name it.
Now I have no symptoms whatsoever. The cure? It's on the posts of this site. I read Dr. Sarno's book over and over again. Did the work. Read the other posts.
Best wishes
