Has anyone heard of sedimentaion of the muscle? My friend had some tests for his muscle and joint pain and came up with this diagnosis. He had this onset of pain after taking some medication for heartburn. Now the doc. wants him to take a medication for the sedimentation. Can we consider this tms related? Thanks, he's really worried and I'm trying to help.

I've never heard of it. But why not lend him the book to read anyway? I'm sure the list of symptoms Dr Sarno mentions isn't exhaustive.

If your friend reads the book he can make up his own mind. At this stage he may decide to go with his doctor's diagnosis. But if a third set of symptoms appears, and he's read the book, then at least he has another possibility.
