My wife sent the FAX to Dr. Sarno describing her condition. The Fax number used was 212 263-2949. Is that the correct number? She sent the Fax on the 15th of March, but has not received a reply...

Are there other ways to get in touch with Dr. Sarno? We are on the West Coast. Is it better to see a "Sarno" doctor on the West Coast? Any other suggestions would be welcome...vern

I've decided to see Dr. Strom, who is in Seattle. He recently trained with Dr. Sarno. I can almost walk to his office if I could walk that far, so that sure beats a plane trip anywhere at this point. I've talked to him on the phone. He's in NYC, so probably won't have an appointment till next week.

Thanks for the info on Ananda! He's certainly the real deal. I may just have to make the trip to Southern California since I can't get an appointment with Sarno, which for him I would make the very "painful" trip to NYC. Has anybody been to see Schechter? I have not found his workbook that helpful. I seem to get more out of just reading Sarno's books and journaling. Some of my other pains have gotten better, while the back gets worse, which from what I read can be the way it happens. And again has anybody seen Ananda or Strom? Any comments on the various doctors would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I'm also from the Pacific Northwest. Where is Strom located? And please let me know if you hear anything about either doctor, as I would also like to visit a TMS doctor.

We got another recommendation for a "Sarno" doctor from Dr. Sarno's office. Since we are from the Washington State they referred us to Dr. Strom. I ran a search on this forum for both Dr's Strom and Ananda, but I had no good hits. Has anyone had experience with either of these two doctors; or does anyone know of another doctor in the Pacific NorthWest?....vern

Thanks for the info. My wife called. The office told her that he is presently only taking Permanent NY Residents as patients. Also, he is no longer taking FAXes. The office staff referred Alice, my wife, to Dr. Ananda in Las Angeles....vern

I looked up his name on East 44th Stree in New York and called for an appointment. His office staff are very helpful.
