After being set free from my shoulder symptoms for over a month, the pain started to come back slowly on the opposite side, then switched again to the original side. it ended up being as strong as it was initially- so i did again what worked the first time (books, audio programs of dr. schecter and john bradshaw, affirmations, etc)

i came to understand a most intense rage that i have against myself for letting myself put on over 100 lbs over the last 15 years. i spent some extreme emotional time doing mirror-affirmations and forgiving myself. lo and behold, the next morning i thought i had a stomach flu, which turned out to be diverticulitis (EXTREMELY PAINFUL).

dr sarno does say that most GI issues are a TMS equivalent, so i wonder:

anyone else had experience with this sort of manifestation?

I JUST SPOKE WITH DR SARNO AND HE SIAD IT IS ABSOLUTELY A TMS EQUIVALENT- IT JUST HAS A DIFFERENT PHYSIOLOGY. HE RECOMMENDED SEEING ONE OF HIS PSYCHOLOGISTS. HE WAS SOMEWHAT SURPRISED THAT THE SHOULDER PAIN DIDNT GO AWAY WHEN THIS ABDOMINAL PAIN TOOK OVER. HE SUGGESTED THAT I HIT SOME SORT OF 'PANDORAS BOX' OF EMOTIONS...
