Has any one hear used the techniques of treating tms for neck and arm pain. My problem is that there was an injury, though slight, and I think that I am worried could it be a disc, what have I done, etc. I have successfully rid myself of leg pain in the past. It's just hard when it feels like something is so uncomfortable. I don't know why I am feeling so unsure this time when I was so strong beating the TMS in my leg. I know I have a lot going on right now.

Also, does anyone know of a doctor north of new york city (westchester or putnam) that believes in TMS (like a family doctor). The doctor I had originally seen was in Washington, DC and I know Sarno takes a long time and a lot of money to get into see him.

You answered your own question:

Q: I don't know why I am feeling so unsure this time when I was so strong beating the TMS in my leg.

A: I know I have a lot going on right now.

You "know" but are you taking the time to explore your deeper emotions? Or maybe the distraction is working.

If you've been through TMS treatment before you should be convinced that disc problems do not cause pain. Most likely the injury you describe was a trigger.
