Hello,
I have just been reading a lot about people's different experiences with hamstring issues because i have just started running again and my hamstring is bothering me!....................does anyone have any special tips that they work on in their minds when there hamstrings are playing up?any feedback would be welcome. Thanks

Geeta--read my new post about hamstrings. You don't say what your hamstrings issue is. What are you experiencing?

I've had hamstring issues too. I'm sure the emotional issue behind it is different for each person. For me, it helps while running to visualize myself as strong and powerful. Every time I accomplish something -- running to the top of a hill, doing a particularly long run -- I spend time feeling good about cool it is that I met the challenge. I turn this over and over in my mind and let it sink in really well. This helps overcome my "physical" thinking and tendency to see my body as easily injured.
