Posted - 01/07/2006 : 15:38:42 I emailed previously about having restless legs and being dependent on restless leg medication (a parkinson's drug). So when I bit the bullet and used TMS theory to overcome my restless legs, and was successful, I then proceeded to get all over pain. I have been in pain for several weeks now and am trying to think straight. I could use some support. At this point I feel like I have to go back to obsessing about my restless legs to get rid of the muscle pain. Help! Debby |

Posted - 01/08/2006 : 09:17:18 Hang in there. This is actually exactly what you wanted because it means that your restless legs syndrome was definitely TMS. Try to see the new pain as confirmantion that you were right. I often found that when a new symptom came up, I felt myself wishing for the old symptom back but probably just because you don't remember that the old symptom was just as bad. Keep doing the work, eventually everything will fade away. |

Posted - 01/08/2006 : 07:56:14 Debbie, you say that "I feel like I have to go back to obsessing about my restless legs." That is exactly what your brain wants you to do. You must do the exact opposite. |
