Posted - 11/04/2005 : 15:29:56 I've heard pelvic pain discussed here but have never had it...Lately, I've developed pain on the right side, right around where top of my pelvis is on that side...it hurts after running, golfing etc. JUst sort of stiff and achy feeling...At first I thought it was muscle pain, but I'm beginning to think not....
Is this what you guys mean when you discuss pelvic pain? Is this a common TMS thing?
Many advance thanks, A. |

Posted - 11/05/2005 : 13:55:21 Thanks all...
Windy, that makes sense, that's where the pain is...I decided to assume TMS. Ran yesterday, played golf today, much better...
Many thanks... |

If it's further in to the middle of the body or a bit higher there are a lot of organs in that location .... not sure how to advise you in that case b/c focusing on any pain is still the objective of TMS.

Posted - 11/05/2005 : 07:03:00 Yes, I have this problem. My symtopms are almost like Randolos. After numerous invasive tests I was diagnosed with non bacterial prosatitus but it has nothing to do with the prostate. I had also a problem with frequent urination which thankfully went away. Dr. Sarno notes in his book that 90% of urologists believe this condition is tension induced. When I brought this up to the urologists I went to, who happens to be one of the top persons in this field, he agreed with the idea that this is tension induced and psycho-somatic. He knows nothing of TMS or Dr. Sarno......I bet sexual activity is a real challenge also for you. Not preety indeed. But think of it as TMS. Dr. Marc Sopher, a TMS doc, told me he treated two people with these symptoms using TMS treatment and they recovered.
Best wishes...... |

Posted - 11/04/2005 : 16:07:12 I'm not sure if that's what other people mean, but one of my problem spots is way up high on my right thigh just below my crotch, where the muscle attaches to my pelvic girdle. It's basically the inner thigh muscle that pulls my right leg over to the left and/or twists my right leg inward so the toes of my right foot are pointing to the left (does that make sense?).
I have always thought that this was part of my TMS, if that helps any.
