Today my local news channel had a segment on a "new' technique to get rid of chronic pain. It's call MAT - Muscle Activation Technique. It's a PT technique whereby the PT does some manual manipulation of muscles with their hands and bingo, you're all better.
Just thought it was kinda cool how the minute I heard them talking, I could see that it's just yet another new fangled thing that for me would be nothing but a placebo.
I guess it works for some but certainly wouldn't for TMS'ers.
That's it, just sharing what I saw.
