I'm just wondering if anyone else has felt that all this good stuff only happens for others, but it won't happen for me? Self-defeating, absolutely, but being honest about emotions is what it's all about. If anyone has blazed their way through this I'd appreciate your support. I know it's a step at a time. Support is new for me though, so I'm asking for all I can get! Thanks.
Cindy

Hi cindy-gail,
Yes, as my symptoms continue to diminish, I have been having these same kinds of thoughts. Thoughts like:
"I must just be kidding myself. Hey, this is me were talking about here. This can't really ever truly get better."

This has been an eye-opener for me, but that is actually a good thing. What it has done is given me the push to dig deep emotionally to find out why I have these feelings of unworthiness.
I suggest you do the same.

Yes, absolutely! I'm sure most people go through the period of doubt. For me, support from people who had been through it and come out the other end was the deciding factor in me continuing with it.

So I'd like to pass that support on to you: I've got through it. I had a couple of months of no apparent improvement at the beginning, but now I'm almost there.

One other tip: focus on the things that have improved, however small. The improvements will slowly get bigger!

Hilary
