Posted - 10/08/2005 : 10:33:00 I have been in chronic pain since my auto accident in June of 2002. You name it I've been diagnosed w/it. I had disc replacement surgery in 2003 but NO PAIN relief!!
Last week, I discovered Dr. Sarno's book. I now KNOW that I have TMS. I am a recovering co-dependent AND I have so MANY repressed anger symptoms from my childhood. I'm just beginning this process and frankly, am scared to death!!
Can anyone out there recommend a psychotherapist in Houston, Texas? Also, please send me some e-mails re: your situation and how you are dealing w/the TMS. That would be GREATLY appreciated!!
Thanks!! |

Posted - 10/08/2005 : 20:33:55 Hi Pam,
If you don't mind maybe you could post more about your situation here on the tmshelp.com forum.
I'm wondering which book you have read by Dr. Sarno. Is it "The Mindbody Prescription"?
As far as how we are all doing, we invite you to read back through the previous posts and replies. I think that would be a good start for you to see all we have been through.
If you have any specific questions, just ask.
Take care, -Stryder |
