I thought this might be an interesting topic for discussion: Does spiritual faith (of any kind) make someone
a) more disposed to tms
b) less disposed to tms
c) neither

I'm inclined to think "b" because belief in some kind of higher power is a way to relinquish control. TMSers tend to be control phreaks.

I would tend to go more with A actually. I am a chrisitan, and I know others with back pain that are. If you are spiritual/religious I think there is a great need to be perfect, but we all know we are going to come short. But with me, in the church it's hard to admit to others our faults, because we fear judgement. I know I should not do that, and I know I can't please everyone. But I have tried to my whole life, and that is part of the reason I have symptoms.
